Overview

The Assistant Director, Social Media and Digital Reputation at CoxHealth is a crucial member of the Corporate Communications team, responsible for managing the organization's social media strategy and digital reputation. This role focuses on enhancing visibility and engagement through organic and paid social media efforts, while also supporting reputation management programs and strengthening the digital ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute organic social media strategy across multiple platforms.
  • Lead paid boosting and promotion of reputation-centric content.
  • Support reputation and review management by monitoring and responding to third-party reviews.
  • Design and implement social listening and digital intelligence capabilities.
  • Oversee analytics and reporting for social and reputation programs.
  • Support executive team's social presence and develop employee advocacy programs.
  • Collaborate with SEO and marketing teams to enhance blog content strategy.
  • Ensure alignment and consistency between communications and marketing efforts.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies for reputation monitoring and response.
  • Define governance and approval workflows for social/reputation management.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in social media, reputation management, or digital communications.
  • Strong proficiency in social media platforms and boosted content strategies.
  • Experience with analytics and reporting, including metrics definition and dashboard creation.
  • Familiarity with social media tools like Sprinklr, Hootsuite, and Sprout.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing reputation and review programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of SEO and content optimization principles.
  • High comfort in working with external vendors and managing contracts.
  • Knowledge of compliance restrictions such as HIPAA in communications.
