Overview

The Assistant Director of Social Media and Digital Reputation at CoxHealth is a pivotal role within the Corporate Communications team. This position is responsible for leading CoxHealth's social media strategy and reputation management, focusing on enhancing visibility, engagement, and performance across various digital platforms while ensuring alignment with broader marketing and brand goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the organic social media strategy across multiple platforms.
  • Lead paid boosting of reputation-centric content on social channels.
  • Support reputation and review management by partnering with external vendors and agencies.
  • Design and oversee social listening and digital intelligence capabilities.
  • Analyze and report on social and reputation program metrics.
  • Support the executive team's social presence and develop an employee advocacy program.
  • Collaborate with various teams to integrate blog content into social and reputation strategies.
  • Define and maintain governance for social and reputation management.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in social media, reputation management, or digital communications
  • Strong proficiency in social media platforms and paid content strategies
  • Experience with analytics, reporting, and defining metrics
  • Familiarity with social media management tools like Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Sprout
  • Experience with managing reputation and review programs across consumer platforms
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of SEO and content optimization principles in healthcare
  • Familiarity with compliance constraints such as HIPAA
