Overview

The Assistant Director, Social Media and Digital Reputation plays a vital role in CoxHealth's Corporate Communications team, leading the organization's social media presence and digital reputation management efforts. This position is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy, managing community engagement, overseeing paid promotions, and collaborating with various departments to align reputation-driven content with broader brand goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute organic social media strategy across multiple platforms
  • Lead paid boosting and promotion of reputation-centric content
  • Support reputation and review management programs in partnership with external vendors
  • Design and oversee social listening and digital intelligence capabilities
  • Manage analytics and reporting for social and reputation programs
  • Support executive team's social presence and employee advocacy initiatives
  • Collaborate with SEO and content teams to optimize the CoxHealth blog
  • Ensure alignment between communications and marketing efforts
  • Define governance, approval workflows, and policies for social/reputation strategy
  • Manage relationships with external agencies for reputation monitoring and response

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in social media, reputation management, or digital communications
  • Strong proficiency in social media platforms and boosted content strategies
  • Experience with analytics and reporting tools
  • Familiarity with social media management tools like Sprinklr, Hootsuite, and Sprout
  • Experience in managing reputation and review management programs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of SEO and content optimization principles
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with compliance constraints in communications
