Assistant Director of AdmissionsCambridge, MAFull timeJR101665 The Opportunity Lesley University is seeking an Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions to join our Enrollment team. Working collaboratively with the Vice President of Enrollment, Associate Vice President of Enrollment, and reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Admissions, this position will play an important role in advancing undergraduate recruitment efforts and supporting the university's enrollment goals. The Assistant Director will oversee an assigned recruitment territory, developing meaningful relationships with prospective students, families, school counselors, and community partners. This role will require regular travel to regional and national recruitment events, high school visits, college fairs, and other enrollment activities. The Assistant Director will also evaluate applications for admission to Lesley's undergraduate programs and contribute to shaping a thoughtful, student-centered admission process. The successful candidate will be a collaborative team member who works closely with colleagues across the Enrollment Department and builds strong partnerships with campus offices to support recruitment, yield, and student success initiatives. This position will have the opportunity to contribute to strategic enrollment initiatives while taking ownership of projects that support the university's continued growth. Additional responsibilities and special projects will be assigned by senior leadership as needed. Qualities and Capabilities The successful candidate will have: Bachelor's degree required. Superior written, verbal, and public speaking communication skills. Represent Lesley University at various recruitment events such as high school visits, college fairs, and community college visits as needed. Plan, manage, and conduct recruitment travel, and counseling activities targeting prospective students and influencers (parents, school counselors, professors) and other major stakeholders in the college search process. Demonstrated ability to contribute to enrollment goals through effective recruitment strategies, territory management, relationship building, and engagement with prospective students, families, and school/community partners. Oversee the yield process for assigned territory for admitted students. Responsible for daily follow-up, communication, and advising of students through the enrollment process. Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic high schools, secondary school counselors, independent counselors, prospective students, families, and Lesley alumni to support recruitment efforts, enhance engagement, and strengthen enrollment pathways.Effectively present marketing messages and accurate academic information on all undergraduate programs leading to positive and informed decision-making regarding the fit between students and Lesley University. Demonstrated cross-cultural competence and the ability to communicate effectively with students and families from diverse backgrounds. Deliver engaging public presentations both on and off campus to prospective students, families, and other audiences about Lesley's undergraduate programs. Presentations may range in size from small groups of 10 to larger audiences of 150+ participants and may occasionally require evening, weekend (Saturday and Sunday), or select Monday holiday commitments.Assist with planning and coordinating daily campus tours to ensure an exceptional visitor experience, with a focus on personalized engagement, attention to detail, and creating a welcoming environment for prospective students and families.Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with prospective students, teachers, high school guidance counselors, independent educational consultants, alumni admissions volunteers, and parents through a variety of communication channels, including phone, email, social media, and web-based applications.Review applications, portfolios and recommend dec
