Overview

The Assistant Director of Hospice - Palliative at Cox HPS of the Ozarks is responsible for developing, directing, and controlling the overall administrative practices of the agency to ensure compliance and enhance operational efficiency. This role includes serving as the administrator of the Hospice program and requires strong leadership in managing staff and maintaining quality services.

Required skills

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program or Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services or Business related field
  • Minimum one year experience in administration or supervision of a hospice agency or related program
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Use of independent judgment and initiative
  • Active Nursing License in Missouri
  • BLS certification to be obtained within 90 days
  • Active Driver's License
