Overview

The University of Mount Olive is seeking an Assistant Dean for the Tillman School of Business. This full-time leadership position is focused on enhancing educational experiences for both traditional and non-traditional adult learners while ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and enhancing academic quality through effective faculty oversight and student engagement.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide leadership in accreditation activities related to SACSCOC and ACBSP
  • Guide the accreditation vision, goals, and strategic plans
  • Manage assessment processes for continuous improvement of academic programs
  • Chair the hiring committee for faculty positions and coordinate faculty searches
  • Serves as the primary academic advisor for undergraduate business students
  • Ensure quality and consistency of academic course materials and resources
  • Collaborate to promote applied learning opportunities for business students
  • Assist with university-related events such as admissions and graduation
  • Teach two courses per semester in the Tillman School of Business
