Overview

The Assistant Community Manager at Wallick Communities will be instrumental in supporting the management of Brownstone Apartments in Indianapolis. This role involves administrative functions and resident relations, contributing to the company's mission of providing affordable housing for families and seniors.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute various administrative functions including unit inspections and move-out documentation
  • Enter and track maintenance work orders
  • Process accounts payable documentation
  • Prepare and distribute community notices
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required skills

  • 1+ year of experience as a residential property manager, preferably with HUD/Section 8 experience
  • 3 years of experience in a general management position with people leadership and process management skills
  • High School diploma or associate's degree; relevant certifications are a plus
  • Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
  • Exceptional service commitment to residents
  • Attention to detail and compliance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Yardi experience is a plus
