Responsible for the fiscal activities of the center. Works collaboratively with Center Director to oversee the supervision and direction of single specialty ambulatory surgical center, according to the centers policies, procedures, and objectives. Responsible for management of all aspects of personnel, education of personnel, and administrative duties. Works closely with the Center Director and center staff in coordinating patient and staff service functions. Partially patient facing role. QUALIFICATIONS:Associates and/or Bachelor's degree required from an accredited college or universityBachelor's degree preferredAt least one (1) year of healthcare-management experienceAt least one (1) year experience in an ASCCPR certification and ACLS certificationEvidence of leadership qualities and integrityStrong ethical character referencesLanguage skills adequate for high-level written, interpersonal, and telephone communication in American EnglishComputer literacy. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Operations:Monitors FTE utilization and makes recommendations to promote cost-effective man-hour practicesOversees the comprehensive and informative orientation programs for new employees in all clinical areasDirects and participates in Center committees, meetings, in-services, and activitiesEnsures center is clean and facility is maintained per policy, accreditation, and regulatory complianceEnsures equipment is clean, disinfected, sterile (as required), and operational at all timesEnsures continuing education for clinical staff members as neededMonitors operational activities for effective and efficient management of daily operationPrepares or delegates staffing schedules in accordance with vacations, holidays, daily personnel assignments and duties according to experience and skill level to provide quality patient careEnsures staff are cross-trained (as appropriate) to provide a productive and efficient work environment for all areasReviews daily time and attendance sheets and maintains attendance logsObserves and evaluates the performance of all center personnel and works to continuously improve the quality of care and servicesCounsels center personnel and makes recommendations for salary adjustments, promotions, and/or terminationsEvaluates suggestions, grievances, and processes to identify opportunities to improve performance and quality of careShares knowledge gained in continuing education with center personnelRegular and predictable attendanceAttends all required education Medical StaffMaintains open line of communication with Center Director, Staff, Medical Director, Anesthesia Director, and QAPI ChairmanMaintains confidentiality of medical staff/allied health employee files RegulatoryRemains current on applicable state and federal laws, rules and regulations, and professional and accrediting-body standardsSubmits required reports on a timely basis Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI):Assists in the implementation and maintenance of the center's adopted quality assessment, performance improvement programAssists in the maintenance, education, and implementation of the centers policies and procedures to the Governing Board, the QAPI committee (as required) and the wider Healthcare teamAssists in the implementation and maintenance of the center's adopted compliance programActively contributes to the QAPI process and identifies his or her own role and contributionsServes on the Quality Assessment, Performance Improvement (QAPI) committee SafetyImplements best practices and regulations adopted, to provide safety in the workplaceMonitors the Center's physical environment and initiates methods for maintaining safety, comfort, cleanliness, and efficienciesMonitors the care, cleaning, and r
