Overview

Marshall & Sterling Inc is seeking an Assistant Client Service Specialist for their Oswego, NY office to provide superior service and administrative support within personal lines insurance. The role focuses on client communications, policy quoting, and ensuring an exceptional client experience, all within a collaborative and employee-owned environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Support client communications and coordinate administrative tasks
  • Assist with quoting policies, ordering MVRs, and processing documents
  • Provide support to Client Service Specialists with customer requests
  • Document all client and carrier communications in the management system
  • Follow workflow procedures and adhere to agency guidelines
  • Maintain required professional accreditations and participate in continuing education programs
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Required skills

  • Proficiency with AI tools and task management systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and AMS360
  • Prior experience in insurance, preferably commercial insurance
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
