Overview

Marshall & Sterling Inc is seeking an Assistant Client Service Specialist for their Poughkeepsie, NY office. This hybrid role focuses on providing exceptional service and administrative support in the commercial lines department, ensuring a smooth client experience and effective communication with clients in both English and Spanish.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide superior service and administrative support to the department
  • Support client communications and coordinate administrative tasks
  • Assist with quoting policies, ordering MVRs, and processing documents
  • Issue proof of insurance and request loss runs to meet clients' coverage needs
  • Document all client and carrier communications in the management system
  • Follow workflow procedures and adhere to agency guidelines
  • Maintain required professional accreditations and participate in continuing education
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Required skills

  • Proficiency with AI tools, task management systems, and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with AMS360 is a plus
  • Prior experience in insurance, preferably commercial insurance
  • Strong communication skills in English and Spanish
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Positive attitude and ability to collaborate with others
