Overview

The Assistant Business Manager at Sail in Minnesota Lake will serve as the operational backbone of the community, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently. This role focuses on maintaining accuracy in operations, supporting the Business Manager, and providing exceptional service to residents while managing leasing tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate unit turns and ensure vacant-unit readiness
  • Conduct daily property walks for curb appeal and safety
  • Manage keys and keep files audit-ready
  • Post rent and fees promptly, and verify vendor invoices
  • Support leasing efforts with timely tours and applications
  • Respond to resident inquiries and resolve concerns promptly
  • Maintain compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and FCRA regulations
  • Assist the Business Manager in daily operational tasks

Required skills

  • 1 year of property management or administrative experience
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow established processes
  • Professionalism and service-oriented attitude
  • Proficiency in Yardi or comparable property management software
  • Understanding of Fair Housing law and leasing compliance
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college or industry credential preferred
