Overview

The Assistant Branch Manager I at Partners Bank supports the Market Manager in day-to-day branch operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with regulations. This role includes training staff, managing workflows, and engaging in sales activities related to deposit and consumer loan products.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with daily branch operations and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Provide guidance and training to branch staff
  • Resolve personnel issues with the Market Manager
  • Conduct employee performance evaluations
  • Oversee workflow in the absence of the Market Manager
  • Engage in sales activities for bank products and services
  • Manage staffing schedules for adequate coverage
  • Participate in hiring and disciplinary actions
  • Represent the bank at community events

Required skills

  • Three or more years of supervisory experience in a financial institution
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer sales and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
