Overview

Innovance is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join Lou-Rich, a contract manufacturer specialized in complex projects. The role involves assembling components to meet high-quality standards for various mechanical and electrical assembly processes, contributing to customer satisfaction and organizational success.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform sub assembly and final assembly processes on mechanical and electrical assemblies
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and calibrated machinery to assemble products
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
  • Ensure compliance with ISO procedures and maintain proper documentation
  • Communicate with engineers and technicians to resolve assembly discrepancies
  • Conduct ongoing inspection of products during assembly
  • Operate overhead hoist/crane for assembly processes
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Entry level or 1-2 years of assembly experience
  • Knowledge of ISO procedures
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electromechanical components
  • Ability to read and interpret routings, bills of material, and assembly drawings
  • Manual dexterity
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting
