Overview

Innovance is seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join Lou-Rich, a contract manufacturer in Hayward, Minnesota. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical and electrical components, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications. Your precision and attention to detail will be vital in contributing to the success and satisfaction of our customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform sub assembly and final assembly processes on mechanical and electrical assemblies
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools to assemble products to specifications
  • Follow ISO procedures and maintain documentation on work performed
  • Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and bills of material
  • Communicate with engineers and technicians to resolve assembly discrepancies
  • Conduct ongoing inspections during the assembly process
  • Lift and position assemblies, operating overhead hoists as needed
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Entry-level or 1-2 years of assembly experience
  • Knowledge of ISO documentation
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents
  • Manual dexterity
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electromechanical components
  • Strong motivation and communication skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
