Overview

Innovance is looking for a skilled Assembly Technician to join Lou-Rich, a leading contract manufacturer based in Minnesota. This role involves assembling mechanical and electrical components while ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications, contributing significantly to customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform sub assembly and final assembly processes on mechanical and electrical assemblies
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and calibrated equipment for assembly tasks
  • Use engineering drawings, schematics, and written instructions for assembly
  • Conduct ongoing inspections of products during assembly and prior to shipment
  • Maintain documentation in compliance with ISO standards
  • Communicate effectively with engineers and technicians to resolve discrepancies
  • Safely operate overhead hoists and cranes for lifting assemblies
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of assembly experience
  • Knowledge of ISO standards
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electromechanical components
  • Manual dexterity
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Teamwork and positive attitude
