Overview

Innovance, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Quality Inspector to join their team at Lou-Rich, a contract manufacturer specializing in complex projects. The role involves inspecting and auditing materials and products to ensure they meet specifications, assisting with data collection for quality assurance processes, and contributing to the maintenance of ISO 9001 standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform basic dimensional and visual inspections of products
  • Assist with inspection of purchased materials
  • Prepare and maintain required inspection records
  • Conduct first article inspection and in-process verification
  • Collect and report data for inspection activities and quality studies
  • Audit outgoing inspection processes
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities

Required skills

  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 processes and procedures
  • Ability to use measuring devices for inspections
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Familiarity with SPC and process capability studies
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to operate overhead hoist/crane
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and dimensional inspection
