Job Description

Overview

As an Assembler with L3Harris Technologies in Cincinnati, Ohio, you will be instrumental in the production of electronic and electro-mechanical components for defense products. This role requires hands-on assembly work with a strong emphasis on safety and quality standards, in a strictly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Read and interpret assembly instructions and technical documents
  • Assemble components using hand tools and automated equipment
  • Perform wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing
  • Conduct visual inspections of components and subassemblies for defects
  • Verify completed assemblies for quality conformance
  • Accurately complete assembly and quality records
  • Participate in daily meetings to address production issues
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Follow company policies and procedures related to safety and export controls

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant experience
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 32 pounds
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Manual dexterity for handling small parts and tools
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical documents and blueprints
  • Proficiency in hand soldering (preferred)
  • Familiarity with defense industry standards and quality systems
