Overview

Wulftec International Inc. is seeking an Assembler for a permanent full-time position in Ayer's Cliff, Quebec. This role involves assembling and testing components and machines according to technical specifications and quality standards while adhering to safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Assemble components and machines according to established standards and technical specifications.
  • Wire special orders as needed.
  • Drill holes to perform wiring on panels and machines.
  • Test final assemblies according to a checklist.
  • Conduct dielectric tests (CSA 2200V) on all machines.
  • Handle electrical connections ranging from 24V to 600V.
  • Operate forklift or overhead crane to move heavy objects.
  • Maintain a clean work area and organize tools and instruments.
  • Ensure personal and team safety.
  • Train new employees as required.
  • Contribute to the collective effort of the department.

Required skills

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read assembly plans (asset).
  • Knowledge of safety rules.
  • Familiarity with tools.
  • Completed forklift and overhead crane training (asset).
  • Ability to lift and move weights up to 20 kg.
  • Good physical condition to move frequently and stand for long periods.
  • Punctual and reliable.
