Job Description

Overview

The Assembler position at Innovance involves assembling parts and components into units while interpreting specifications and blueprints. This role requires the individual to engage in tasks related to foaming and operate machinery, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and possessing a mechanical aptitude to support manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Assemble parts or assemblies into units by interpreting specifications, blueprints, and job orders
  • Engage in foaming and operate machinery that sprays resins and foaming materials
  • Lift and position assemblies using overhead hoists or cranes
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area
  • Perform quality checks on parts and make necessary adjustments
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to reduce variation and waste
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisor or lead person

Required skills

  • Entry level or 1-2 years of assembly experience
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electromechanical components
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and part prints
  • Manual dexterity and ability to handle tools and controls
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Understanding of ISO standards
