Overview

U.S. Tsubaki Automotive, LLC is seeking a General Assembler for the 2nd shift in Portland, Tennessee. The Assembler, under the guidance of the Production Supervisor, is responsible for producing parts by hand or using simple machinery while adhering to quality and quantity guidelines.

Key responsibilities

  • Assemble and pack products according to work instructions or route sheets
  • Inspect machinery at the beginning of the shift and maintain proper records
  • Clean and lubricate machinery as needed
  • Conduct visual quality inspections of parts
  • Report faulty operations or defective materials to the supervisor
  • Meet specified quantity and quality guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
  • Monitor machines during operation
