Job Description

Overview

The Assembler at U.S. Tsubaki Automotive, LLC is responsible for producing parts by assembling components and subassemblies, working under the direction of a Production Supervisor. This role involves following work instructions, inspecting machinery, and ensuring quality standards are met in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Follow work instructions and/or route sheets
  • Assemble and/or pack products for various departments
  • Inspect machines and notate on check sheets
  • Clean and/or lubricate machinery as required
  • Inspect and place parts in designated trays
  • Meet specified quantity and quality guidelines
  • Maintain equipment in a clean and orderly condition
  • Report faulty operation or defective material to supervisor
  • Conduct visual quality inspections
  • Monitor machines and work in varying environments
  • Work with heavy machinery, such as milling and injection molding machines

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1-3 months of related experience or training
  • Manual dexterity and ability to use various machines
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic problem-solving or troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using weight measurement
