Job Description

Overview

The Assembler at U.S. Tsubaki Automotive, LLC is responsible for producing parts by assembling components and subassemblies, either by hand or using simple machinery, under the guidance of a Production Supervisor. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring quality and quantity standards are met.

Key responsibilities

  • Follow work instructions and assemble or pack products for various departments
  • Inspect machines at the beginning of shifts and maintain check sheets
  • Clean and lubricate machinery as required
  • Conduct visual quality inspections and report any defects to supervisors
  • Work on various surfaces and in different environments, including dimly lit areas and with heavy machinery
  • Meet specified quantity and quality guidelines
  • Maintain equipment in a clean and orderly condition

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1-3 months of related experience or training
  • Manual dexterity and ability to operate various machines
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to recognize similarities and differences in words and numbers
  • Strong teamwork skills
