Overview

As an Assembler at Metalcraft of Mayville in Fall River, WI, you will be responsible for producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies. Reporting to the Assembly Manager, you will work in a team-oriented environment and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Position parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements
  • Assemble components by examining connections for fit and fastening parts
  • Verify specifications by measuring completed components
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • Manage supplies inventory and place orders for necessary supplies
  • Document actions by completing production and quality forms
  • Contribute to team efforts by achieving related results
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards

Required skills

  • Previous experience with light electrical assembly and/or heavy equipment assembly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team
  • Aptitude for taking orders and executing them efficiently
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task
  • Good finger and hand dexterity
