Overview

Metalcraft of Mayville is seeking Assemblers for their facility in Fall River, Wisconsin. The role involves producing components by assembling parts and maintaining a safe working environment. Candidates will receive on-the-job training and have opportunities for advancement.

Key responsibilities

  • Position parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements
  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts
  • Verify specifications by measuring completed components
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • Check and maintain supplies inventory
  • Document actions by completing production and quality forms
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Previous experience with light electrical assembly and/or heavy equipment assembly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team
  • Aptitude to take orders and execute them efficiently
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Detail orientation and self-motivation
  • Good finger and hand dexterity
  • Multi-tasking abilities
