Job Description

Overview

The Assembler at Metalcraft of Mayville in Beaver Dam is responsible for assembling SCAG V-Ride and Windstorm machines. The role involves working both individually and as part of a team to put together parts and subassemblies for these products, ensuring that assembly guidelines are followed and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists.
  • Assemble components and verify specifications.
  • Resolve assembly problems and notify supervisors for additional resources.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Manage supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Contribute to team efforts and comply with safety standards.

Required skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong basic math skills.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Good finger and hand dexterity.
  • Basic knowledge of blueprint reading and torque values.
  • Experience in light electrical assembly or heavy equipment assembly.
