Overview

Metalcraft of Mayville is seeking Assemblers for their 3rd Shift in Horicon, Wisconsin. The role involves assembling components by following specific instructions and ensuring quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare work by studying assembly instructions and gathering necessary parts and tools.
  • Position and assemble parts and subassemblies using templates and measurements.
  • Verify specifications and resolve assembly problems as needed.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot issues.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with safety standards.
  • Manage inventory by checking stock levels and placing orders for supplies.
  • Complete production and quality documentation.
  • Contribute to team efforts to achieve related results.

Required skills

  • Experience in a highly technical environment
  • Strong basic math skills
  • Knowledge of light electrical assembly or heavy equipment assembly
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
