Job Description

Overview

Wulftec International Inc. is seeking an Assembler for a full-time, permanent position on the day shift in Ayer's Cliff, Quebec. This role involves assembling and testing various components and machines under the guidance of the Assembly Foreman, and is part of a company recognized for its commitment to employee well-being and development.

Key responsibilities

  • Assemble components and machines according to technical and quality specifications
  • Wiring as necessary on special orders
  • Drill holes for wiring panels and machines
  • Test final assembly using checklists and perform di-electrical tests
  • Make electrical connections varying between 24V and 600V
  • Use forklift and overhead crane to move heavy items
  • Clean work station and manage tools
  • Train new employees as needed
  • Contribute to the collective efforts of the department

Required skills

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read assembly plans (asset)
  • Knowledge of safety regulations
  • Familiarity with tools
  • Forklift and overhead crane operation experience (asset)
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 kg
  • Good physical condition for manual tasks
  • Punctual and reliable attendance
