Overview

The ASM / Sales Supervisor at Craft Beer Guild Distributing of NY is responsible for driving the company's market share growth through effective sales management and customer relations. This role involves overseeing sales representatives, implementing marketing strategies, and maintaining positive supplier relationships, all while keeping expenses under control.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain effective customer relations and promote the company's goodwill.
  • Supervise and direct assigned Sales Reps for optimal sales and distribution.
  • Implement and execute the company's marketing strategies.
  • Schedule personnel for promotional activities.
  • Assist in handling supplier relationships.
  • Identify sales opportunities in key accounts.
  • Organize the sales department structure and assign accounts and territories.
  • Recruit, select, and train the sales force.
  • Review customer credit status and shipments with the Credit Manager.
  • Assist in projecting sales and ordering products.
  • Prepare monthly sales objectives and action plans.
  • Maintain awareness of industry developments.

Required skills

  • BA/BS Degree
  • 5-7 years of sales experience in beer, wine, spirits, or consumer goods
  • Excellent managerial, communication, and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of legal requirements for sale and delivery of alcoholic beverages
