Job Description

Overview

As an Armed Vault Custodian-PM Shift at Loomis, you will work with your team to manage inventory in cash vaults for Loomis customers. This full-time position includes responsibilities such as checking deposits, counting items, and communicating with co-workers and customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Check identifying numbers or seals on bags of deposits and/or change shipments
  • Count items, record amounts and serial numbers, and sign receipts
  • Load/unload wagons or flatbed carts with bags/boxes of coin
  • Sort individual cargo items by route
  • Communicate verbally with co-workers and customers via telephone

Required skills

  • Ability to push heavy carts loaded with cargo
  • Experience in repetitive lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand on concrete floors for long periods
  • Skills in counting, adding, subtracting, and balancing numbers
  • Valid firearms permit or ability to meet firearms requirements
  • Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for the job
