Job Description

Overview

As an Armed Transport Guard at Brink's in San Jose, California, you will play a critical role in the safe pick-up and delivery of cash and valuables for clients such as financial institutions and retailers. This position requires a blend of strong customer service skills and tactical security strategies to protect high-value goods while working in a performance-oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Guard and maintain safety and security of employees, armored truck, and liability
  • Deliver or pick up valuables at customer locations
  • Reconcile customer deposits and receipts of all valuables handled
  • Provide service to customers' ATMs, including loading/unloading currency and changing receipt paper
  • Follow all applicable procedures and regulations regarding firearms
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Remain alert and prepared for potential risks or accidents

Required skills

  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
  • Valid firearms permit or ability to obtain one
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Ability to maintain tactical procedures for security
  • Pre-employment verification, background check and drug screening
  • Previous security experience (preferred)
  • Military background (preferred)
