Job Description

Overview

As an Armed Driving Vault Teller at Loomis, you will work with a team to manage and maintain inventory in cash vaults while ensuring customer satisfaction. This role entails a combination of cash handling, inventory management, and security protocols during your shift.

Key responsibilities

  • Check identifying numbers or seals on bags of deposits and change shipments against accompanying receipts or manifests
  • Count items, record amounts and serial numbers, sign and date receipts and manifests
  • Load/unload wagons or flatbed carts with bags or boxes of coin
  • Sort individual cargo items by route
  • Communicate verbally with co-workers and customers

Required skills

  • Ability to push wagons, carts, and dollies with heavy cargo
  • Physical fitness for repetitive bending, lifting, and standing
  • Ability to count, add, subtract, and balance columns of numbers
  • Valid firearms permit or ability to pass firearms requirements
  • Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for communication and documentation
