Job Description

Overview

As an Armed Driver Guard at Loomis, you will be responsible for the safe and secure pickup and delivery of cash, coin, and valuables. This role requires driving armored vehicles, servicing customer locations, and managing vehicle cargo while ensuring adherence to security protocols.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive armored vehicles on designated routes
  • Service ATMs and Smart Safes
  • Deliver customer change orders and pick up deposits
  • Load and unload vehicle cargo including multiple bags and boxes of coins
  • Count items, record, and sign for cargo items
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management

Required skills

  • 3 years driving record
  • Ability to obtain Medical Examiners Certificate
  • Valid firearms permit or ability to pass firearms requirements
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Customer service skills
  • Knowledge of security protocols and cash handling
