Overview

As an Area Supervisor at Ross Stores, you will play a vital role in store leadership, overseeing specific areas and managing overall store operations. This position includes responsibilities such as supervising associates, ensuring customer safety, and maintaining merchandise presentation while promoting a positive team environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise associates and maintain a friendly shopping environment
  • Open and close the store as Manager on Duty
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed and report unsafe conditions
  • Provide excellent customer service and recognize associate contributions
  • Maintain clean and well-organized store and stockroom areas
  • Execute merchandising tasks including recovery, sizing, and markdowns
  • Oversee front end operations and train associates on cash register procedures
  • Manage fitting room cleanliness and compliance with garment tagging policies
  • Conduct cash pulls and bank deposits in accordance with company policy

Required skills
