Overview

Airoom Companies, LLC is seeking an experienced Architectural Residential Designer to work on-site in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential remodeling and be proficient in using Chief Architect and AI-enhanced rendering tools to create high-quality visual presentations.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop accurate and detailed architectural plans using Chief Architect
  • Produce professional visualizations with AI-assisted rendering tools
  • Collaborate with design, construction, and client teams to ensure project alignment
  • Maintain organized documentation and update plans as needed
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Create technically sound and creative bathroom and kitchen designs
  • Artfully communicate architectural concepts through renderings
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of proportion and scale in design presentations

Required skills

  • 5+ years of architectural design experience in high-end residential spaces
  • Proficient in Chief Architect, REVIT, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office, 3DStudioMax, SketchUp, Adobe In
  • Strong understanding of design principles in architecture and interior design
  • Experience in producing detailed photorealistic renderings
  • Ability to create artistic illustrations under tight deadlines
  • Proficient in hand-sketching and working with markers
  • Keen eye for design and attention to detail
