Overview

Airoom Companies, LLC is looking for an experienced Architectural Residential Designer to join their team in Chicago. The role focuses on residential remodeling, requiring proficiency in Chief Architect and the ability to produce high-quality AI-enhanced renderings for client presentations.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop accurate and detailed architectural plans using Chief Architect
  • Produce professional visualizations using AI-assisted rendering tools such as Dall-E, Lumion AI, Enscape, or D5 Render
  • Collaborate with internal design, construction, and client teams to ensure design feasibility
  • Maintain organized documentation and update plans according to feedback
  • Manage several projects simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Ensure creative and technically sound design output, particularly for bathrooms and kitchens
  • Communicate architectural concepts effectively through renderings

Required skills

  • 5+ years of architectural design experience for high-end residential remodeling
  • Proficient in Chief Architect and advanced knowledge of architectural design software
  • Experience with AI-enhanced rendering tools
  • Strong understanding of functional design principles, interior design, lighting design, and color theory
  • Ability to create photorealistic renderings and manage multiple projects
  • Proficient in hand sketching and artistic illustration
  • Strong sense of proportion and scale
