Overview

Ciao is looking for an experienced Organic Architect to join their dynamic team in Quebec. The role focuses on the development, maintenance, and evolution of systems within the IT sector, emphasizing collaboration, innovation, and client engagement.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist programmers in using Microsoft technologies for the maintenance and evolution of applications
  • Propose solutions and participate in development following Microsoft best practices
  • Develop or adjust organic architecture documents as needed
  • Analyze and optimize processing performance
  • Identify, manage, and promote the reuse of common components in projects
  • Participate in the migration and evolution of software components
  • Work with support teams to integrate continuous integration
  • Contribute to upgrading and migrating software components within Microsoft environments

Required skills

  • 2 to 9 years of experience in organic architecture
  • 3 years of experience as an advisor in organic architecture using Microsoft technologies (ASP.NET, Visual Basic .NET, C#
  • 2 years experience with applications integrating web mapping APIs (Google, ArcGIS or similar)
  • 1 year experience in adaptive web development (responsive design) using Bootstrap
  • 1 year experience with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
  • 1 year experience with Team Foundation System (TFS)
  • 2 years experience with structured development methodologies (e.g., P+ de DMR, Macroscope, the Green Guide)
