Job Description

Overview

Ciao is looking for a Senior Functional Architect to join their dynamic team in Quebec. The role involves participating in various projects related to the development, maintenance, and evolution of information systems, ensuring the viability of application solutions at all project stages.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist users in defining and understanding their operational needs related to functionalities to be developed or modified
  • Conduct functional analysis of targeted functionalities
  • Participate in the elaboration, writing, and modification of functional analysis documents in compliance with functional architecture specifications
  • Design and create system prototypes that meet user needs
  • Present functional documents to developers and support them throughout development
  • Coordinate and supervise programmers assigned to the realization of functional documents

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology
  • At least 8 years of experience in information technology, including 2 years as a functional analyst on Java or .Net syst
  • At least 3 years of experience in object-oriented web systems development (Java or similar)
  • Participation in a project comprising at least 1000 person-days with at least 220 person-days contributed in the last 3
  • Familiarity with SQL and Oracle databases
  • Experience in Agile project development
  • Experience in a governmental or parap governmental organization for at least 6 months
