Overview

The Architect position at Cyntergy, located in Tulsa, OK, requires 15+ years of experience and is focused on retail building programs. This role involves overseeing all architectural aspects of design and construction projects, leading teams, and making significant design decisions while ensuring compliance with relevant codes and client needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee and plan architectural aspects of building design and construction projects
  • Make decisions in significant architectural design problems and methodologies
  • Interface directly with client representatives regularly
  • Facilitate prototype assembly and maintenance, implementing change management
  • Supervise project budgets, schedules, and team assignments
  • Ensure cohesive and coordinated design documentation
  • Estimate design fees and prepare proposals and contracts
  • Supervise and evaluate the work of other architects and technicians
  • Ensure project standards and accuracy with Quality Control Manager
  • Participate in client presentations and marketing activities when needed

Required skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prepare project proposals and estimate fees
  • Expertise in industry standards for architecture and design
  • Familiarity with current design trends, materials, and construction practices
  • Sustainable design and/or LEED knowledge preferred
  • Experience in mentoring younger staff
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit software
  • Experienced with MS Office software, including Outlook
