Overview

The Aquatics Training Supervisor at Hersheypark is responsible for managing part-time aquatics and attractions employees to maintain service standards and meet daily operational needs. This role involves leading a team, facilitating training, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols in a vibrant amusement park environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and direct attractions team members within the assigned area
  • Assist in attraction assignment, preparation, and training
  • Ensure proper staffing and training of employees each shift
  • Facilitate training as needed
  • Complete checklists, inspections, and supporting documentation
  • Lead safe and effective operation of assigned attraction(s)
  • Provide on-the-spot coaching and direction to employees
  • Monitor workflow and make work assignments to maintain operational capacity
  • Address guest issues and escalate advanced concerns as needed
  • Act in assigned operational positions as required
  • Communicate staffing and operational issues to supervisors
  • Report trends, issues, or concerns
  • Participate in seasonal event set-ups and themed projects
  • Perform other assigned duties

Required skills
