Overview

Safety-Kleen Canada Inc. is seeking an Apprenti-chauffeur / Aide général to join their safety-conscious team in Chambly, Quebec. The role involves training in the handling and transport of hazardous materials, with opportunities for career development in the environmental sector.

Key responsibilities

  • Learn to transport hazardous waste from client sites to the warehouse using a vacuum truck or box truck.
  • Ensure proper loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
  • Learn to correctly label vehicles in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain daily records, trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports.
  • Check the mechanical condition and proper functioning of equipment.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the company.
