Appointment SetterDepartment: AdmissionsReports To: Admissions Director Location: Manhattan School of Computer Technology (MSCT) - Brooklyn, NYEmployment Type: Full-TimePosition SummaryThe Appointment Setter is responsible for making outbound and inbound calls to prospective students, qualifying leads, and scheduling appointments with Admissions Representatives. This position is the first point of contact for many prospective students and plays a critical role in generating interviews and supporting enrollment goals.The ideal candidate is energetic, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while meeting daily activity and appointment goals.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead ManagementContact prospective students through phone, text, email, and CRM.Respond to inquiries promptly following Speed-to-Lead standards.Qualify prospective students based on program interest, availability, and eligibility.Maintain consistent follow-up with assigned leads.Update all lead activity in LeadSquared (LSQ) or the assigned CRM.Appointment SchedulingSchedule appointments for Admissions Representatives.Confirm appointment date, time, and location.Send appointment reminders via phone, text, or email.Reschedule missed appointments when appropriate.Maintain a high appointment show rate.Customer ServiceProvide accurate information about MSCT programs.Answer general admissions questions.Build rapport with prospective students.Deliver excellent customer service throughout the admissions process.CRM & DocumentationRecord all conversations and follow-up activities.Update lead status accurately.Ensure all required notes are entered after every interaction.Maintain data integrity within the CRM.Team CollaborationWork closely with Admissions Representatives.Communicate lead quality and appointment updates.Participate in daily team meetings and training.Support departmental enrollment initiatives.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Customer service, call center, or sales experience preferred.Excellent verbal communication skills.Strong organizational and time management skills.Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Preferred QualificationsAdmissions or higher education experience.LeadSquared or CRM experience.Bilingual (English/Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Mandarin, or other languages) preferred.Key CompetenciesExcellent communication skillsPositive attitudeRelationship buildingActive listeningTime managementAttention to detailProblem-solvingGoal-oriented mindsetProfessionalismPerformance Expectations (KPIs)Daily outbound call volumeSpeed-to-Lead response timeNumber of qualified conversationsAppointments scheduledAppointment show rateLead response rateCRM documentation accuracyDaily follow-up completionConversion from lead to interviewWorking ConditionsOffice-based position.Standard business hours with occasional evening or weekend availability based on recruitment events.Frequent phone, computer, and CRM use.Success ProfileA successful Appointment Setter consistently creates meaningful conversations with prospective students, responds quickly to new inquiries, schedules qualified appointments, maintains accurate CRM records, and contributes to achieving the Admissions Department's enrollment goals while representing Manhattan School of Computer Technology with professionalism and enthusiasm.Compensation details: 19.23-21 Hourly WagePI77ca-2881
