Applied Materials is seeking a Field Service Engineer as part of their Early Career Program in Hillsboro, Oregon. This role is designed for recent graduates or individuals with some hands-on technical experience, providing an opportunity to work directly with cutting-edge semiconductor equipment while collaborating closely with customers. The position includes a structured training program that aims to develop the necessary skills for maintaining and upgrading equipment in a professional environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and upgrade customer equipment alongside senior engineers
  • Use digital analytics to troubleshoot technical issues
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
