Overview

The Applications Manager role at CFS involves leading a team of systems analysts, business analysts, and application developers within a leading manufacturing organization. The position focuses on managing IT projects related to enterprise applications to ensure alignment with business goals and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor a team of systems analysts, business analysts, and application developers
  • Oversee project planning, resource allocation, budgets, and stakeholder communications
  • Lead and deliver IT projects focused on enterprise applications
  • Partner with business leaders to translate requirements into technology solutions
  • Research and evaluate new technologies to improve efficiency
  • Maintain and enhance enterprise software systems supporting manufacturing operations

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Experience leading technical teams and managing complex projects
  • Extensive experience with ERP system integrations, implementations, and upgrades
  • Experience with tier-1 ERP platforms (Oracle, SAP, or similar)
  • Experience with CRM systems and business intelligence tools
  • Strong understanding of SQL and data analytics
  • Familiarity with modern integration platforms
