Overview

The Application System Analyst Lead at CHRISTUS Health is responsible for leading and coordinating application support efforts, ensuring quality outcomes for end users and stakeholders. This role requires an experienced professional who can manage projects effectively, facilitate team collaboration, and provide oversight across various application teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as primary representative in implementation phases including build, configuration, testing, and go-live support.
  • Provide escalation support for team activities in the designated focus area.
  • Demonstrate leadership to ensure team members adhere to quality standards.
  • Coach team members in problem-solving and process analysis.
  • Prepare and provide organized project status reporting to stakeholders.
  • Develop business relationships with key client administrators for new project insights.
  • Manage communication between application teams and facilitate cross-application work sessions.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of relevant technologies and application features.

Required skills

  • 5-7 years of experience in healthcare, business, or information systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Organizational skills for managing multiple priorities
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Understanding of Epic modules and ability to maintain proficiency
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
