Redwood Living, Inc. is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician I in Kannapolis, NC. This role involves performing routine maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment, ensuring a positive experience for residents through effective communication and customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities, buildings, and grounds
  • Prepare vacated apartment homes for release promptly and professionally
  • Complete minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall tasks
  • Service kitchen appliances and perform emergency maintenance as needed
  • Follow safety standards at all times
  • Participate in snow removal as required

Required skills

  • 1 year of general maintenance experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • HVAC Certification (preferred)
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to operate smartphone, tablet, and computers
