Overview

Fath Properties is looking for an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join their team in North Central Dallas. The ideal candidate will possess multi-skilled capabilities in areas such as plumbing, electrical repairs, and carpentry, ensuring effective maintenance and repairs for both occupied and make-ready residential units.

Key responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair basic maintenance problems including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues
  • Perform necessary repairs in occupied and make-ready residential units
  • Manage purchasing and ordering of maintenance supplies
  • Maintain a neat and orderly maintenance shop at the apartment community

Required skills

  • HVAC license
  • Minimum 1 year experience in plumbing and electrical maintenance
  • Minimum 2 years residential maintenance experience
  • High School Diploma, GED, or Technical/Trade School education
  • Able to lift 75 lbs and climb ladders
  • Leadership skills and reliable transportation preferred
