Overview

The Prescott-Russell Residence is seeking an Animator for a part-time role in a long-term care facility located in Hawkesbury, Ontario. This position requires bilingual candidates with a background in Recreation or related fields to contribute to a dynamic team.

Key responsibilities

  • Participate in recreational activities for residents
  • Maintain certification in food handling and CPR
  • Complete Smart Serve training
  • Assist in creating a therapeutic environment for residents

Required skills

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Recreation, Therapeutic Recreation, Kinesiology, or a related field
  • Bilingual communication skills
  • Certification in Food Safety
  • CPR certification
  • Smart Serve training
  • Experience in a health care or long-term care environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
