Overview

High View, LLC is seeking multiple Animal Scientists to develop and oversee programs related to animal reproduction, nutrition, and herd management. The role focuses on ensuring the health and well-being of sows and piglets and optimizing animal productivity and biosecurity protocols.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure the health and well-being of sows and piglets across all stages
  • Manage and optimize protocols for animal productivity, biosecurity, nutrition, medication, and vaccination
  • Analyze herd performance and provide insights on herd health and disease prevention strategies
  • Support efforts to reduce sow mortality rates
  • Develop and implement livestock production plans aligned with specific performance targets
  • Monitor and analyze production metrics, adjusting strategies to improve outcomes
  • Maintain and analyze detailed records of animal health and production data
  • Ensure compliance with internal safety, welfare, and productivity standards

Required skills
