Overview

The Angiography Technician - Cath Lab at Kettering Health in Miamisburg, Ohio, plays a crucial role in assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Interventional Radiology lab. The position emphasizes patient care, safety, and teamwork within an integrated healthcare system committed to exceptional care.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist the physician during peripheral or neuro diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Perform radiographic work on various types of equipment
  • Ensure timely and efficient completion of work
  • Assist with patient care and safety in the Interventional Radiology environment
  • Rotate on call for emergency procedures with a 30-minute response time

Required skills

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiology Program
  • Current certification with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Current Radiologic Technologist license from the Ohio Department of Health
  • BLS certification
  • Excellent knowledge of anatomy and physiology
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Capacity for independent judgment
  • Ability to manage high-stress situations
  • Quick troubleshooting skills for equipment
