Overview

Curative is seeking a locums Anesthesiology Physician for an outpatient assignment in Hamburg, Pennsylvania. The role involves providing anesthesia support for injection-based procedures in a no-call, outpatient setting with a predictable workflow, catering primarily to adult and geriatric patients.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia support for outpatient preventative care procedures
  • Handle approximately 10-15 patients per day
  • Perform MAC anesthesia, propofol infusions, intubations, and spine cases
  • Follow a daytime schedule with 8-hour daily guarantee
  • Participate in recurring every-other-Friday coverage after initial summer coverage

Required skills

  • MD or DO required
  • Active Pennsylvania medical license required
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology within 5 years
  • ACLS and BLS certification required
  • DEA certification required
  • Experience in outpatient care and injection techniques
