Overview

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking an experienced locum Anesthesiologist specializing in Obstetrics for full-time, inpatient OB anesthesia services. The role is located at the MercyOne Genesis Davenport Campus and requires independent practice without supervision.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide full-time, inpatient OB anesthesia services
  • Support a high-volume delivery center with approximately 2,100 annual deliveries
  • Work on a schedule of 7 days per week with 24-hour in-house call
  • Independently manage OB services without CRNA or APP supervision
  • Ensure patient safety and quality care in a high-volume setting

Required skills

  • Board Certified in Anesthesiology
  • Specialization in Obstetrics
  • Active Iowa Medical License
  • Experienced in independent practice
  • Clean malpractice and background history
  • Familiarity with EMR System: Cerner
